Maison Gerard invites you to have a look at a beautiful new project in Tribeca.

You will find comparatively few photos here. In a rare display of minimalism, or MG’s maximilist version of it, the gallery let the immense, breathtaking space, with its floor to ceilling windows, its long wood floors, and sweeping row of pillars, speak for itself.

Of course, the gallery contributed large sofas by Arbus, a touch of French grandeur augmented by pieces from Leleu and Maison Jansen. Particularly arresting was the juxtaposition of Kevin Grey and Mat Driscoll (whose works echo, and pay tribute to, the apartment’s industrial past) with a stunning 18th Century pastoral wallpaper from Carolle Thibaut Pomeranz. Considering this last, it seemed fitting to let Maxine have the run of the place and, as usual (and like us), she wasted no time in making herself right at home.

Please enjoy a look here at the space, and linger, as we did, over the composition, moving pieces around in your mind however you see fit. And, as always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at home@maisongerard.com.
