Ben Erickson, an artist living and working in Brooklyn, utilizes twentieth century design's most celebrated material and aesthetic combinations in the creation of his own spectacularly unique sculptural furniture. For his daybed Erickson makes use of rosewood, leather upholstery, and brass adornments, tying them all together in a pared-down formal arrangement.
