Douglas Fanning

Master metalsmith Douglas Fanning's extra long console features an extended series of topographical crests spanning two thirds of its otherwise smooth top and spilling over onto one side. Fanning, always eager to explore new territories in form and material, has in this case completed his elegantly spare bronze composition in a brooding patina, setting up a contrast between his cool, industrial aesthetic and the geological formation intimated.
