Artist's Statement:
"This table was inspired by a water lily I saw in Maui. Its delicate petals make a beautiful pattern that looks almost like an Arabic design. Each petal has its own tiny stem so that when a breeze blows the petals all separate on the water's surface and then come back together into their beautiful pattern. I also played with the base by bending the concrete as much as possible without loosing stability."
