This unique set, completed circa 1960 and comprised of a corner bookcase and matching desk, like much of the famed firm’s furniture, was commissioned for a private residence. The pieces are lacquered and gilded. The desk retains its original green leather and has legs capped with bronze sabots and other ornamental details. The cabinets’ sliding vitrine doors make the interior accessible and serve as a regal frame for its contents.
