Inspired by forms in nature, especially of people, Niamh Barry conveys volume and motion with the sinuous lines, shedding the rigidity of symmetrical geometries. Apparent Magnitude is a marvel of negative space—a broad, horizontal arrangement of these deftly formed ellipses made up of bronze (both patinated and polished) and strips of LEDs covered in opal glass tiles.
