In this case the Irish artist, employing elements relatively new to her work (like a shifting gauge, which expands and contracts as the viewer's eye follows the piece from one end to the other), has manipulated space, metal, and light to embody a certain weightlessness and fluidity characteristic to a ribbon in the wind.
